What are the defects?
The affected vehicles may have a leak in the hose on the fuel line. The concern happens due to cracks appearing in the inner layer of the hose in combination with a pressurised system.

What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs there is a risk of a fuel hose leak or fire, the most common symptom being a fuel smell, which may pose a risk of injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

What should consumers do?
Consumers should contact their Volvo dealer and organise an appointment to have the hose on the fuel line replaced.
