Product description
This recall involves the MONTOY branded Little Princess Doll. The product comes in
six different variations with the same identification code. The item number 08-3066065
and UPC 667888315611 can be found on the lower back part of the packaging.
The six variations of the doll are:
- Brown hair, yellow dress
- Blonde hair, blue and pink dress
- Red hair, blue dress with yellow outline
- Red hair, pink dress
- Black hair, purple and pink dress
- Blonde hair, blue and orange dress
Hazard identified
The plastic doll contains levels of phthalates that exceed the allowable limit and may
pose a chemical hazard. Studies suggest that certain phthalates, including DEHP,
may cause reproductive and developmental abnormalities in young children when
soft vinyl products containing phthalates are sucked or chewed for extended periods.
As of December 21 2018, Dollarama L.P. has not received any reports of incident or
injuries related to the use of the doll.

Approximately 111,378 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from September 12, 2017 to December 18, 2018.
