Product description

This recall involves model year 2016 through 2018 Kubota Z400 and Z700 series 

gasoline-powered zero turn mowers. The recalled units were sold in orange and black 

and have “Kubota” imprinted on the front and side of the mowers.

The model number and serial numbers can be found on the data plate located on the 

side of the unit.

The model and serial numbers for the affected Kubota Zero Turn Mowers sold in Canada are:

Hazard identified

Kubota has discovered that the bolts on the rollover protective structure (ROPS) 

may not have been tightened sufficiently at the factory. As a result the rollover 

protective structure (ROPS) on the mower may loosen and fail to protect the 

operator in a rollover accident, posing a risk of injury.

As of January 24, 2019, the company has received no reported incidents or injuries in Canada.

Approximately 887 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
