Product description
This recall involves model year 2014 to 2018 Kubota BX compact utility tractors, ZD and ZG diesel and gasoline-powered zero turn mowers, and GR ride-on mowers. The model number is printed on the side of the unit. Kubota is printed on the side of the mowers and tractors. The data plate contains the serial number and is also located on the side of the unit. The affected units are orange and black.

Hazard identified
Kubota has discovered that under some overheat conditions, the cap of the radiator coolant reserve tank, if restricted, can come off and high temperature coolant may spray out, posing a burn hazard.

As of January 15, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Customers are to be mailed a new cap by Kubota Canada along with installation instructions. Consumers may also contact an authorized Kubota dealer for a free inspection and repair of the cap.
