What are the defects?
On affected vehicles, one of the parts in the internal play compensator mechanism in the rear brake calliper may no longer work in the long term.
What are the hazards?
The parking brake may not work effectively, posing an accident risk and potential serious injury to the occupant of the vehicle or other road users and property.
What should consumers do?
Peugeot Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them
to present their vehicle to their preferred authorised Peugeot dealer to
have replacement parts installed.
This operation consists of replacing the two rear brake callipers to ensure
that the parking brake works effectively in the long term.
