This is the final CDC update on the outbreak of Multistate Outbreak of Listeria Infections Linked to Vietnamese Pork Products: https://www.cdc.gov/listeria/outbreaks/porkproducts-11-18/index.html

Updates:

This outbreak appears to be over. No additional illnesses were reported since the last update.
Four sick people were reported from four states. All four people were hospitalized. No deaths were reported.
On November 20, 2018, Long Phung Food Products in Houston, TX recalled  ready-to-eat pork products because they might be contaminated with Listeria bacteria.
Recalled pork products should no longer be available in stores, but may still be in home freezers. Visit the USDA-FSIS website for a full list of recalled ready-to-eat pork patty rolls.
Advice to Consumers:

Consumers who have recalled pork products in their homes should not eat them and should throw them away or return them to the store for a refund.
Wash and sanitize drawers or shelves in refrigerators and freezers where recalled pork products were stored.
If you develop symptoms of a Listeria infection after eating recalled pork products, contact a healthcare provider and tell them you ate recalled pork products.
In general, people who are at higher risk for Listeria infection, including pregnant women, people age 65 or older, or people with a weakened immune system, should avoid eating hot dogs, lunch meats, cold cuts, other deli meats (such as bologna), or fermented or dry sausages unless they are heated to an internal temperature of 165°F or until steaming hot just before serving.
If you have questions about cases in a particular state, please call that state’s health department.
