What are the defects?
The voltage setting applied to the LED Control Unit (LCU) is inadequate.
As a result, oxide may be generated on the contact surface resulting in an
increase in the contact resistance, causing the switch to fail. This may
result in the turn signal light, hazard signal and high beam not operating
as intended.
What are the hazards?
A non-operational signal light, hazard light and high beam may increase the
risk of an accident, resulting in injury to occupants of the vehicle and other
road users.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should contact their nearest Honda dealer and arrange for their
motorcycle to be inspected and repaired at their earliest opportunity.
